While the mobile app may request location permissions to properly enable app functions (Bluetooth connectivity, background activity, etc.) your location data is not collected, stored, or transmitted unless you explicitly enable the "Track Location" setting during account setup or in the settings. Once "Track Location" settings is enabled we do not store a historical record of your location. We only store the last known GPS location for the purposes of recovering a SmartCase should it become lost. Any GPS location data we collect is never shared with any third-party.
